The results of the research teams (groups of Tomáš Šimůnek, Petra Štěrbová and Jaroslav Roh from the Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové and the group of Martin Štěrba from the Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové) have been published recently in four papers in leading international scientific journals.

Researchers of the Placenta in Health and Disease group have been conducting a long-term clinical study in which they monitor changes in placental functions in patients with uterine inflammation and the effect on fetal neurodevelopment. Authors have published the first part of this project in the journal Human Molecular Genetics.

Rules for crossing the state border starting on August 23, 2021

The Ministry of Health issued a new protective measure to limit the crossing of the state border of the Czech Republic. In contrast to previous measures, it frees, among other things, the travel of persons from non-epidemiologically safe third countries if the person is fully vaccinated.

Between 26 and 28 July 2021, the tenth meeting of medicinal chemistry PhD students was held at the Paul Ehrlich MedChem Euro-PhD Network. Our faculty was successfully represented by MSc. Ghada Bouz, Ph.D.,a graduate from the doctoral degree programme in Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
