The Science and Library Information Centre (SLIC), i.e. the Faculty Library, is located on the 8th floor of the South Building. It includes a lending department with a free selection of study literature, 3 smaller study rooms (including a study room for pharmacopeia), and a shop selling textbooks and promotional items. No food or drink is allowed in the library, but there is a small student room with refreshment facilities within easy reach.
- Registration for all CU libraries (including the FAP library) is done uniformly by filling in an electronic application form. To register, you must have a student ID and valid CAS (Central Authentication Service) data. You log in using the person's number, which is on the ID card under the photo, and a password. By confirming your electronic registration, you agree to abide by the CU Library and Circulation Rules and to provide your personal details.
- Please register before your first visit to the library. Without a valid registration, your records will not be imported into the library system, and you will not be able to borrow items. A single registration then allows you to use all CU Faculty libraries. You can also find procedures for when consent cannot be granted at the link above.
