Examinations rules

  • You pass the exam if you receive a grade between 1 and 3 (1 = excellent, 2 = very good, 3 = good), unlike in secondary school or primary school, a grade of 4 means you fail, so you have to retake the exam.

  • You can take the exam in a given subject a maximum of three times (i.e., 1 regular + 2 additional terms, a 4th term is not allowed by CU regulations).

  • There is a sufficient number of dates. However, if you do not use the dates, you are not entitled to another date. Therefore, it is advisable not to postpone the dates of examinations or credits unnecessarily. You should strongly consider failing to appear for an exam (the exam is marked as a failed term) or withdrawing from an exam.
