
Rajamanikkam Kamaraj, who is a Ph.D. student of the doctoral program in Pharmacology and Toxicology, will receive funding for the 4EU+ European University Alliance Student Mini-grants.
The project implementation is planned for the year 2022. The title of the project is Thinking outside the ligand-binding pocket: alternative binding sites in the ligand-binding domain of Pregnane X Receptor (PXR) to prevent colon cancer. The project was prepared by Prof. Petr Pávek and his research team of scientists in collaboration with Prof. Johanna Weiss from Heidelberg University.
