Last week, the adaptation course for new PhD students took place, offering them a warm welcome and a smooth start to their journey. Senior PhD students organized a diverse program filled with engaging events and educational sessions designed to help newcomers settle in and connect with their peers.
The event kicked off with "Get to Know Each Other" activities and an amazing treasure hunt, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience. The newcomers had the chance to participate in a fun game night (even the Dean joined in!), get familiar with essential tools through the workshop IT Starter Pack, develop key competencies in soft-skills training, and test their knowledge in an exciting pub quiz finale.
Both organizers and attendees had a fantastic time, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved. We, the organizing team, sincerely thank everyone who participated. We hope this marks the beginning of an amazing journey for all of our new PhD students!
