On 21-24 May 2024, the international conference PSE Trends in Natural Products 2024 Young Scientists' Meeting, organised by the European Phytochemical Society of Europe (PSE), took place in Brno, Czech Republic. During these four days, diverse research results were presented with the thematic intersection of natural substances. At the conference, colleagues from the Department of Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutical Botany of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Charles University also presented their research results in the form of lectures or posters.
During the conference, the "Dra. Mariola Macías Award" for young scientists under 35 years of age was presented for an outstanding scientific contribution in the field of natural substances for the period 2022-2024. Professor Francisco Macías, President of PSE, also presented this award to PharmDr. Jana Křoustková, Ph.D., who came in an excellent third place in the international evaluation.
