Talented young scientists from the Pharmaceutical Applied Research Center (The Parc), founded by Zentiva in cooperation with leading Czech universities, received The Parc Awards that are awarded annually. Mgr. Thao Tranová won the Student Choice Award category with her project entitled “Orodispersible tablets prepared from materials obtained by spray drying technology“.
Thao Tranová is a 3rd year doctoral student of the Pharmaceutical Technology study program and a member of the Dosage forms and drug delivery systems research group at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Charles University. She is working on her dissertation entitled “Orodispersible tablets”. Her supervisor is Doc. PharmDr. Jitka Mužíková, Ph.D.
Thao is representing our faculty at the PARC science and technology cluster (Pharmaceutical Applied Research Center). PARC supports selected young talented researchers and combines academic research with experience from industrial practice. Thao Tranová presents her research work at PARC symposia and consistently receives excellent reviews.
Mgr. Thao Tranová is the main author of two articles that have been published in the prestigious pharmaceutical journals Eur. J. Pharm. Sci. and Pharmaceuticals. In 2022, she was also a co-author of papers at two international symposia held in Slovenia and the Netherlands. The contributions were made during her internship abroad at the Faculty of Pharmacy of Jagiellonian University in Krakow.
