Resolution of the Government of the Czech Republic of 3 May 2021

The Government of the Czech Republic has adopted a decision that amends some measures also related to the operation of our faculty - we exclude relevant passages.

With effect from 10 May 2021 from 00:00 am until the revocation of this extraordinary measure, the operation of schools and school facilities in all regions except the South Bohemian Region, the Vysočina Region and the Zlín Region is limited by:

1. operation of higher education institutions pursuant to Act No. 111/1998 Coll., On Higher Education Institutions and on Amendments to Other Acts (Act on Higher Education Institutions), as amended, including foreign higher education institutions and their branches operating in the Czech Republic (hereinafter "higher education institutions"), by prohibiting the personal presence of students in classes and examinations, university studies and participants in lifelong learning courses; the prohibition on the personal presence of students under this point does not apply to:

a) participation in clinical and practical teaching and practice of students,

b) participation in individual consultations or counseling services (only one student and one academic or other person); and

c) tests, if the distance between individual persons is at least 1.5 meters,

 

10. the operation of schools and school facilities in accordance with the Education Act and the operation of higher education institutions by prohibiting sports activities as part of education, with the exception of:

a) kindergartens,

b) fields of secondary and higher vocational education and study programs of universities in which sports activities are a key part of a framework or accredited educational or study program, and

c) sports activities held outdoors, if other restrictions allow personal presence in education,

 

12. entrance examinations for universities so that the distance between individual persons is at least 1.5 meters.

 

With effect from 4 May 2021 from 00:00, the emergency measure of 19 April 2021 is amended so that

1. Article XV reads as follows:

A person who is an applicant for admission to study at a university (hereinafter referred to as the “applicant”) shall be permitted by the university to be present at the entrance examination, unless it is a distance examination taken only if:

a) has no symptoms of COVID-19, and

b) submit a document issued by the health service provider of a negative result of the POC antigen test for SARS-CoV-2 virus or RT-PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 virus carried out in the last 7 days before the entrance test, or

c) submit a document issued by the university on a negative result of the preventive antigen test for SARS-CoV-2 virus antigen or the preventive RT-PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 virus, which was performed in the last 7 days before the entrance test,

 

Respiratory protective equipment

All persons are prohibited from moving and staying without respiratory protective equipment (nose, mouth), which is a respirator or similar device (always without an exhalation valve), with effect from 10 May 2021 from 00:00 until this special measure is revoked. meeting at least all technical conditions and requirements (for the product), including filtration efficiency of at least 94% according to relevant standards (eg FFP2, KN 95), medical face mask or similar device meeting at least all technical conditions and requirements (for the product) ČSN EN 14683 + AC, which prevents the spread of droplets, namely:

b) in all other publicly accessible places where at least 2 persons less than 2 meters apart are present at the same place and at the same time, unless they are exclusively household members.
