02/03/2021

At its extraordinary meeting on Tuesday, March 2, 2021, the government approved amendments to several anti-epidemic measures

From Wednesday, March 3, employees will again be able to use the canteens for direct consumption of food. However, only one person may be seated at one table, and in the case of a long table, there must be at least a two-meter gap between the boarders or mechanical obstacles that prevent droplets from spreading.

From March 3, the length of the ordered quarantine will also be adjusted for persons living in the same household as a person infected with SARS CoV-2 coronavirus and the conditions for its isolation from other household members cannot be met. In this case, the length of the quarantine is reduced from 21 days to 14 days.

The crisis measure, which restricts the free movement of persons, is also being clarified. Exceptions to the curfew during the day are added to attend meetings, and it is specified that persons attending such meetings must use a respirator or surgical drape or a similarly effective certified respiratory protection device.

The original versions of the documents are available on the website of the Czech government.
