Deadlines

The deadline for filling in the online application form for admission in the academic year 2019/2020 is
May 30, 2019.

The entrance examination dates

The entrance examination dates at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Kralove, Charles University, Czech Republic:

  • April 29th 2019
  • June 3rd 2019
  • June 28th 2019
  • July 2019 (the exact date will be announced to all registered applicants later) – an alternative day is only for registered applicants who were officially excused and could not participate in any of previous regular dates.

The entrance examination dates in Istanbul, Turkey:

  • May 4th 2019
  • May 23rd 2019

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION TO STUDENTS FROM IRAN:

Students from Iran should contact Aspiyan s.r.o. Agency, e-mail: office@aspiyan.eu to get all the information on filling in the application form and on the entrance examinations at the Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Kralove, Charles University, Czech Republic, and in Istanbul, Turkey. Aspiyan s.r.o. is officially recommended agency by the Faculty of Pharmacy for successful VISA process for Iranian students. 

Admission requirements

The Faculty of Pharmacy seeks students with appropriate academic qualification, good command of English and high motivation to study Pharmacy. Written tests include a multiple-choice test in Chemistry (50 questions), Biology (30 questions) and Botany (20 questions).

In the final evaluation of the candidate's success, students will obtain points only for correct answers, they will get 1 point for each correct answer. In case the candidate does not answer or misspells any question, points will not be deducted.

The Dean of the Faculty will set the number of points required for the admission with respect to the number of applicants and students´ capacity of the Faculty.

Documents required for acceptance for studies

All students studying at any University in the Czech Republic must have their secondary school education recognized by the Czech Educational Office.

Recognition of documents verifying a completed secondary education:

  • Nostrification by the education department of recognition authority at any regional authority (Krajský úřad) in the Czech Republic. More information about this process available here
  • The European Baccalaureate diploma (NOT an IB diploma which requires either option a) or d) - details here 
  • Diploma issued by secondary schools accredited in Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, or Slovenia
  • Nostrification in terms of the admission procedure – processed by our Faculty, more information

Students who receive their final certificate after 1st October have to obtain at least an official letter from their secondary school confirming the completion of the secondary school education, results of the final examination and that the acquired level of education entitles the student to study at University in the given country (country where the university is accredited).

All the above-mentioned documents have to be validated (officially verified) by a lawyer, solicitor or notary public and must contain apostille or super-legalization clause. Apostille is sufficient for countries listed here: www.apostille.org.uk/apostille-countries. Documents issued in countries not included in the list require super-legalization (verification by locally competent Czech Embassy). The documents must be submitted to the Study Department at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Heyrovského 1203, 50005 Hradec Králové until September 30, 2019 at the latest.
