The department provides the subjects which characterizes the sources of plant drugs (Pharmaceutical Botany, Recognizing of Medicinal Plants, Medicinal Plants Production), then subjects which are related to the medicinal plants use and biological activity (Phytotherapy, Toxicology, Principles of the Traditional Chinese Medicine). The methods of analytical work are lectured in the subject Phytochemical methods. They are also taught the environment protection questions which are connected with the pharmaceutical profession (Monitoring of Environment).
