Topics studied at this department are mainly laboratory studies of the biological effects of selected drugs on cells, tissues, organs, and organ systems in vitro, in situ, and in toto, mainly under modelled load conditions. Attention is concentrated mainly on reproductive and embryonic tissues, on the heart and the immune system.
